Two Dog Tales

I just read on CNN that John Travolta’s two dogs were killed last week while someone was walking them to a grassy area at the Bangor, Maine airport. That poor family. We all know how comforting the unconditional love of dogs can be, and for that family to have to endure the loss of their teenage son then see their pets killed in a senseless accident is just tragic. I won’ t equate the two losses, dogs are family members, and their loss is so painful, but you always know that you will most likely outlive a dog. While a child, a parent should never have to bury. But it justs seems so much for one family to bear.
