Two Dog Tales

On Wednesday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m. Nat Geo Live presents Jet Set Pets with best-selling author Kelly E. Carter.

Meet this experienced world traveler and dedicated dog lover in conversation with Dr. Gary Weitzman, the co-host of WAMU’s Animal House. In the new National Geographic book The Dog Lover’s Guide to Travel, Carter and her long-haired Chihuahua Lucy give the inside scoop on pet-friendly hotels, restaurants, beaches, parks, and dog runs, plus events and attractions for four-legged visitors.

This cocktail event takes place in the National Geographic Dining Hall. No pets allowed, and attendees must be 21 or over. Book sale and signing to follow. Event attendees will receive a “doggie bag” with coupons and dog treats to take home.

Tickets are $30 and include cocktails and appetizers.
